The book Andromono by G C McGhee is set in the not-so-distant future, in which the Androgynous leaders of society rule over the Mono’s. 

I was tasked by the author of the book to draw five of the main characters from the book, three ‘Andro’s’ – Mena, Mix and Biff and two ‘Mono’s’, Ragman and Luther.

The Andro leaders have an assigned gender at birth, but strive towards a gender-neutral middle-ground in looks, whilst also having shaved heads. Which led to a rather unique challenge.
